GF Piping Systems of Schaffhausen (Switzerland) has won the “Supply Chain Management Award 2014
The award is presented each year to the best value chain in the manufacturing industry by the Management Consulting unit of the auditing and consulting firm PwC and the trade journal LOGISTIK HEUTE in partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics and the House of Logistics & Mobility (HOLM).

“The approach taken by GF Piping Systems impressed the jury. The winner succeeded in leveraging its supply chain management to develop new and innovative services for its customers,” noted juror Harald Geimer, a partner at PwC.

provide even better customer service,” remarked juror Dr. Petra Seebauer, Head of Publishing at Munich-based HUSS-VERLAG and publisher of the trade journal
LOGISTIK HEUTE, in her comments about the award-winning solution.
The gala event bestowed top honors on GF Piping Systems and also acknowledged the three finalists: Bühler AG, Knorr-Bremse Group, and Paul Hartmann AG.
